Pink Fabric Tulips — Spring That Folds Up Small

Handmade pink fabric tulips in three cotton prints at £4 a stem — everlasting spring blooms with pearls at the tips.

Pink Fabric Tulips — Spring That Folds Up Small

The tulip baskets in my craft room work all year round, but the pink ones are the ones people pick up first at fairs. This week's journal is theirs: my pink fabric tulips, each one cut, folded and stitched by hand.

Each stem is £4 and comes in one of three cotton prints: pink with tiny white flowers, white with pink flowers, or a pale pink with white spots. Every bloom has a green felt leaf on the stem and, if you look closely at the tip, a scatter of tiny pearl details — the sort of small finishing touch that makes people lean in and ask "did you make these?"

They are sold individually, which is entirely on purpose: nobody buys just one. A posy of five or seven in mixed prints looks wonderful in a jam jar on a kitchen table, and because they are fabric, they never drop a petal or need a drop of water.

You can choose your fabric from the drop-down menu here, and there are yellow and green and neutral families too if you are building a proper spring garden.

Like everything in the shop, they are made in small batches in Devon and posted across the UK and worldwide. Thank you for reading — and may your week be pink around the edges!
